How to find Medical Sales Jobs

You just Googled: “how to prepare for a medical sales interview.”

So did the other 50 candidates who made it to Talent Acquisition.

A major mistake aspiring medical sales reps make?

↓↓↓

Fake confidence disguised as preparation.

I see it during interviews, sales reps and clinicians consume content and mistake it for preparation.

They feel ready…

Until they’re pushed off script.

Recently, I asked a candidate a simple follow-up ⤵

“Can you give me another example?”

Frozen. Eye shift. Rambling.

They had all the “information.”

YouTube, Google, a ChatGPT built 30-60-90 plan.

But when the conversation shifted, it fell apart.

➨ That’s fake confidence.

It shows up when candidates:

★ Memorize Google answers that sound robotic.

★ Use templated plans that everyone else shares.

★ Know the buzzwords but can’t connect their experience.

During competitive interviews, this gets exposed quickly.

Hiring managers are looking for evidence:

Can you think? Adapt? Communicate under pressure?

The candidate who wins the offer isn’t consuming more information.

They make it undeniable they can step in and perform from day one.

Information builds awareness.

Practice builds confidence.

Feedback builds competence.

➨ And competence gets offers.
