I started in sales to pay my bills.
In college, I sold flip phones at Sprint PCS.
Great training. Good money. Fun job.
But deep down ⤵
I wanted something more.
Biology degree.
Retail sales experience.
I wanted healthcare.
A rewarding career with impact.
The problem?
The door into Pharma Sales was locked.
I’ll never forget the frustration.
I’d send out resumes…
No interview.
I remember thinking:
“Why won’t anyone give me a chance?”
That’s when I stopped guessing and built a system:
★ Made a list of dream companies.
★ Decode their world: people, products, rivals.
★ Weaponize my resume with results.
★ Pick up the phone to form new relationships.
★ Connected my story to their world.
It wasn’t easy.
But those steps took me from ⤵
Rejection ➨ to my first pharma sales job.
If you’re stalled right now…
The climb is hard.
But the top is worth it.
Because one day soon, you’ll hear those words too:
“Congratulations, welcome to the team!”
With your current plan, when will you hear the words, “You’re hired!”
