How to Find a Pharmaceutical Job

I wanted a pharmaceutical sales career before I even knew what it was.
In high school, I worked weekends while my friends were out having fun.
Because I was hungry for something more, even if I couldn’t name it yet.
Today I see the same hunger in my LinkedIn inbox.
↓↓↓
“Can I pick your brain?”
“Any advice for pharma sales?”
“Do you know of openings in my city?”
I learned this the hard way early in my career ⤵
Asking for help without context isn’t networking.
➨ It’s noise.
With my first job out of college, I made this exact mistake.
I asked senior reps for favors before I understood the business.
No preparation.
No curiosity.
No clarity.
It didn’t work then.
It doesn’t work now.
In pharmaceutical sales…
Relationships are built by how you think,
Not how badly you want the job.
Preparation earns conversations.
↓↓↓
⇢ Lead with curiosity, not requests.
⇢ Know the basics before asking questions.
⇢ Help people understand why you’re credible.
The industry isn’t closed.
It’s selective.
▼ Weekend question for you ▼
Are you more of a relax and recharge person…
or plan the next move on weekends?
